Since today's Apple Keynote, I've been hearing a lot of people expressing how they are upset that Apple is getting rid of the headphone jack on its upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7+. I am a music producer, so I make a living creating music and also studying and listening to music. So needless to say I use my iPhone to listen to audio quite often. The main complaint about this that I have been seeing is, people are concerned with not being able to use their current head phones since Apple is going wireless. Then there are other people saying that they don't have Bluetooth in their cars. I understand why they are saying that. I own a pair of $400 beats studio headphones but, I am not complaining because Apple said that the new phones will come with a headphone adapter which will allow you to use your current head phones or auxiliary ports in your cars. So now that that's out of the way, I will share my thoughts on Apple getting rid of the headphone jack.
Today, it seems like our phones have some many different wireless functions. We can sync are phones and computers seamlessly, and also stream media from our phones to our television all wirelessly. Even when it comes to cars, we have different Bluetooth and other hands free options. So just imagine how much more wireless technology we will have 5 to 10 years in the future. That is where I think Apple is trying to lead us. Even though they are not the first to do it, they are the biggest! And in a few years we will all look back and say remember when we used to have to plug in our headphones?
While everyone is complaining about the headphone jack I'm just happy the new iPhone is water resistant!
Pre-orders for the iPhone 7 start on Friday, September 9th and Ships Friday, September 16th.

Note: I wrote a longer post initially but I received a phone call and it erased everything when I opened the app back up.
